We need a variety of materials to help my students gain access to the quality education that they deserve. The word family book sets I am requesting will help my students build fluency and practice new phonics skills learned. The CD players and audio books I am requesting will allow my students to improve their comprehension of texts. The extra trade books I am requesting such as "Wonder,""A Boy and A Jaguar," and "The Crossover" will allow my students to spend time reading books that align with their interests and reflect them as individuals. In addition the chair band fidgets and stress relieve hand fidgets will allow my students to remain focused during their instruction time. All of these resources combined will allow my students in the special education classroom gain valuable opportunities to develop a love for reading and in turn a love for learning.
