I am blessed with a class of readers! They love stories and will benefit from access to a greater selection of books. We needs books that portray the duality of life, the injustices and the beauties, the search for self and the questioning of character. The selected books will feed the imagination and contemplation of my students. The books will be utilized in independent books studies, as well as group reads. I am already imagining their responses and discussions on Lord of the Flies! With juicy plots and unique characters, my students can further ponder what they are to do with their lives and who they would like to become.
