Learning English is a multi-sensory affair. Please help my students access materials that will engage their eyes, ears, voices and hands. Close listening, intentional speaking, word-building and friendly competition are all excellent tools in their language-learning arsenal. The WhisperPhones will allow them to both hear and articulate new and challenging words during Guided Reading. The CVC Cubes and Word Family cards will help them create new words and reinforce important phonics rules. The Sentence Builders and Conversation Cubes will take some of the pressure off, giving them a segue-way into a spoken conversation or written paragraph. And of course, children love to play. Adding Bilingual Zingo to our "Choice Time" offerings will give them a chance to learn, engage, compete and have fun all at the same time. Everyone knows that engaged students are learning students! Bilingual word games, word construction kits and rhyming tools will help my students stay motivated and making progress. Please help them reach their potential and build the skills they will need to be life-long readers and learners.
