Using technology such as an iPad will give children greater opportunities to improve their communication, cognitive, and motor skills. Why an iPad? iPads are light weight, portable, and accessible for children who have difficulties with coordination such as typing. There are a plethora of apps that we will be able to use in order to engage in fun learning activities. Since I tailor my instruction for each child, an iPad will make it much easier for my students to be able to get differentiated instruction because you can customize things with the iPad. The iPad will also be great to motivate students to learn. Children love to engage in learning with technology when it is fun and accessible for them.
