Being in a musical ensemble helps bring students together. With students that have such diverse backgrounds, as my students do, music can be the bridge that connects all of their cultures. Creating a concert band with flutes, trumpets, clarinets, and trombones gives the students a creative outlet, in a safe environment. My students need instruments so that they can create and play music that will inspire them. With a very limited budget and no inventory, the notion of a band seems impossible. Without the help of generous donors, my band my not exist. Please help me to provide my students with the best possible music program they could have.
