In my first year at UV, I started a student government and it was extremely impactful. It has given UV students the chance to make a difference in their school and community, as well as better themselves as individuals. Something that has been especially rewarding is the now annual trip to the State Capitol in Harrisburg. Few of our students ever travel outside of Philadelphia. This trip changes that, and provides an experience that will last a life time. Students will tour the PA State Museum, Capitol Building, and have a meet and greet with their district's representative. Last year our representative, Jordan Harris, even brought the students on the voting floor MID-VOTE!

About my class
