Many of my students do not have technology at home so I want to create a "reading lab" where students can come explore reading at their fingertips! Students will be able to access amazing programs like Imagine Learning, Read Theory, and Capit to help make reading more fun and hands on! Students will be able to work on phonics skills, as well as increase their fluency by reading stories on their level while also working on much needed phonics skills. They can come during their lunch, stay after their scheduled small group time or get passes from their teacher to come to the reading lab. Technology is the window into learning right now and it is critical that we get our students educated on using these kinds of tools while fostering their love for reading along the way.
