The NGSS standards require students to understand that plants can grow without soil. The hydroponics Wall system lets students watch the growth process from the beginning. Students will plant the seeds and help with maintaining the Hydroponics wall system. The Hydroponics Wall system will also help with the weather and climate in town. The winter is cold to start plant growth. Students can learn about plant growth year round. By getting the Hydroponics Wall System students also can see how using efficient energy can help with our environment. I would also like to add more science based literacy in my classroom. The energy books is a great start for students to read about renewable resources.
