Scholastic News contains current events and information using grade level appropriate text. The magazine will come to us weekly throughout the school year and will be used during reading, science, and/or social studies time. Our subscription will also include related skills sheets and videos. The students will be able to access the magazine and accompanying activities online using our classroom computers as well. This magazine will bring grade level appropriate nonfiction texts into the hands of second grade students each week. Students will have access to a variety of topics throughout the school year. This magazine will no doubt get students excited about reading this year!
