The access to these Chromebooks would afford my students the opportunity to have a 21st century education by allowing them to utilize the internet and interact with various learning applications. Many of these students lack access to this medium at their homes so this would really augment their holistic growth and development academically. For example our topic right now in social science is the migration of Mexicans to California during the 1940's. Many of these students are deficient in geography skills. There a website that interactively teaches student the geography of specified areas this would help immensely. Ixl, achieve 3000, and Study Island are also interactive learning site we will use to enrich our learning.
