This donation will give my students the education they deserve. Some schools take board space for granted. When you teach in an older inner city school, we don't always have the available resources to properly educate our children. With this board I can show my students how to fully understand a complex math problem. It may sound silly but right now I have to use poster paper anytime I want to visually express an idea. That becomes very difficult when paper is in short supply. This board will really enhance my ability to explain the necessary skills for my eager third graders. My students will be able to come up to the board and work out problems so that the entire class can see the work. It will allow every child in the class to see work examples at the same time. It will allow healthy competition as the students work out problems side by side. This board will help my future classes as well for years to come. My students love to use dry erase markers and this will make their learning even more enjoyable. Thank you for considering my project.
