The plastic golf balls that I desire are so that young adults can get exposure to swinging a golf club without destroying windows or cars. We have limited space and I know that once students begin experiencing the game of golf then the ultimate plan is to take a small group out onto a real golf course. Not one of the students that I currently serve have ever been on a golf course; in addition, I have told them that although I do not golf, the golf course has helped me. That is, many jobs can derive from the course that do not actually involve playing the game. For example, mowing lawns and maintaining the course can be a lucrative opportunity. Who would have thought, kids who qualify for free and reduced lunches are now swinging for success.
