Having these chrome books in my classroom will allow students to create projects that are challenging, engaging, and fun to present. They will have more practice with keyboarding skills and be able to self publish some of their writing. With Chrome books I will be able to do a genius hour with my students, these Chrome books will allow students to explore and to research questions and topics that they are interested in. Chrome books help make learning real and Google apps are easy for kids and teachers to use. I plan to teach my students how to use the many programs I learned about over the summer in my creating online media class. We can create projects on Adobe and My Simple Show. We would be able to take tests on Kahoot or Quizzes. The students currently get to go to the computer lab twice a week. If we had these five Chrome books, I would have them take turns and be using them all throughout the day. Specifically students would be able to read digital books on them, practice and take spelling tests through Spelling City.com. also increase math fact fluency with educational and engaging games such as prodigy and xtramath. I'm also asking for some fourth grade novels. This is my first year teaching fourth grade and I need more grade level novels in my classroom library. I surveyed students about which books they would like and those were the ones I chose.
