Our students are amazing, and they deserve an environment that nurtures that brilliance. We want to give them new desks and chairs because the ones they have now are broken, torn, vandalized, and sub-par. These kids believe they can learn anything, and that abilities are developed through dedication, vision, and hard work in spite of their current classroom surroundings, but we have to give them better tools. Materials and spaces influence learning, and we're doing our best with our own money to fund a classroom that is worthy of the kids inside it. We need new tables and chairs. What we have now isn't acceptable. We're counting on Donors Chose to help provide an environment that encourages academic mastery and personal growth.
