It is important for them to be exposed to a variety instruments at this age. When they do go off to college or into the professional environment I want them to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to complete certain task at hand. This will also benefit the overall ensemble by being able to hear each part that the musical score ask for. Having these instruments in our band will allow students to get the full experience of being a percussionist! They are more than deserving to have this exposure and I want to do my best to make this happen for them!

About my class
