A Macbook Air will allow me, as the teacher, to provide my class with vigorous, energetic multimedia lessons. I will be able to use multiple websites and programs that will engage my students in STEM learning. I can make enriching presentations that will capture their attention as we learn about the world around them - habitats, the solar system, and world cultures, just to name a few! I will be able to make videos of my students as they are conducting experiments and they could use those videos to gain a different perspective of their project. I will also be able to make the most of MasteryConnect, a program used to document and track student progress. My project will improve my students' school lives because they will be able to increase their academic learning through use of technology, making it easier for them to grow and progress in an ever-changing, advancing world. With this technology in my classroom, students will be able to learn basic researching skills that will be needed for our informative writing project. By using a daily rotation system, they will also be able to participate in programs, such as Imagine Learning and IXL, that have been proven to increase their reading and math fluency. For many years to come, having a Macbook Air and hard case will facilitate growth for my quick learners and for those who need extra support.
