Hello! I am a kindergarten teacher and have taught at the same school for the past 31 years. We are located in Bedford, Virginia in the heart of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Bedford is home to the National D-Day Memorial. My school only houses Kindergarten and First Grade and is a Title 1 School. Many of our students come from single parent homes with lower incomes. Over half of the population receive free or reduced lunch. My classroom theme is "The Busy Bees" and we refer to our classroom as "The Hive". I strive to give my student a safe, nurturing environment where all students can achieve great things! Our class motto is " If I work hard, and be nice to others, then good things will come my way!
