Due to the fact that the first half of our school year will be online, I have requested a credit to be used on the Teachers Pay Teachers website. There are often times I find myself suddenly needing something to compliment a lesson and do not have time to design it myself, as most of my time and energy goes into preparing and recording or giving a live lesson. My students also like activities that are interactive and I am not skilled in creating those. Most of my students cannot afford headphones for personal use. I am requesting 10 pair of headphones whether we are in the classroom or remote learning. Many of my students will have siblings, meaning there may be multiple school provided devices being used in the home. Some of my students may need headsets for home use to block out exterior noise so they can focus on my lessons, particularly with small group reading instruction. When we return to the classroom, it is imperative I have enough working headsets during reader's workshop time so that I can effectively run small groups while some are doing independent online reading work.
