The students here have been working hard all year along with our teachers to master some very difficult 6th grade standards. State testing season is upon us, and we would love to give students an ideal testing environment so that they can rock the test! Here's where you come in! Our students are majority low income, and the teachers do the best we can to provide materials; yet, sometimes we need a little bit of help to make that happen. We have had success with peppermints and oil diffusers in the past, so that is what we stick with! For example, peppermints have been known to keep students awake; they are the first thing that my students ask for when they get a little tired in class!
