My students will use the Dynamath Scholastic magazine multiple times a week to bring real world application inside a classroom. The students will read non-fiction articles about things occurring in other parts of the world and then use the article and text features to solve real world math problems. This will make my classroom more exciting and interesting for my students. Many students are not given the opportunity to see the what happens outside of their city and this will bring the outside world to them. The magazines will give my kids another way to look at how math is presented and gives them more tangible ways to learn math skills.
