Hands-on imaginative play is so important to preschoolers' development. Children love having the chance to act out real-world activities that they see adults do in their daily lives. A pretend grocery store that is preschool sized would give our class a chance to do just that! Pretending to shop, carry a "real" grocery basket, pack the grocery bags, and even use a cash register will be an exciting chance to participate and work together to make the grocery store run smoothly. The lessons that we can learn from this amazing addition to our classroom can be endless! Do you remember going to the grocery store with your parents when you were little and wishing you could slide the food across the scanner? Your donation can help our kids have that very experience!
