Students use iPads for all types of interactive learning in our classroom. Headphones are required to get the full benefit of the programs and apps without the distraction of the sounds from the other iPads. Students use these programs daily, so a class set of headphones are needed to ensure that all students have access to these interactive learning activities. Parents are asked to purchase headphones for their children. Many are unable to purchase this item, and if they do, it is of poor quality. This makes it hard to plan quality, interactive, lessons involving technology. If each student had guaranteed access to headphones everyday, they can stay involved and engaged in interactive, online lessons.
