Hello! My name is Chantel Estes and I teach engineering to students k-6 in Roxborough, Colorado. I have about 750 students who I teach in our indoor/outdoor TinkerLab of Engineers. I direct instruction using the United Nations Sustainability Goals to engage students in designing and building solutions to the timely and authentic challenges we face today. I work to develop 21st century skills as well as grit, self-efficacy, and resiliency in my students. My ultimate goal is to prepare and inspire students to pursue STEM careers. Students need time and space to design, build, test, reiterate, and fail. My classroom gives students a chance to do all of these things. We would love your support to help purchase Lego Robotics Kits as I seek to teach students about innovative technology and coding as they solve global issues.
