My students are fifth graders living in an impoverished area of Los Angeles.They are always energetic, inquisitive, respectful and willing to listen and learn. They enter my classroom every day with the desire and positive attitude to succeed. In todays technology dominated environments, it is crucial that all students have the opportunities to use technology in the classroom in order to succeed. Standardized test are now assessed on computers and tablets. Too often, my students lack access to this technology at home and at school. Due to lack of familiarity to technology and its use, my students are unable to demonstrate their full knowledge of course material. To reach their full potential during everyday instruction and classroom practice it is imperative that students consistently have access to technology and other materials that will allow them to advance academically. Help me make a difference for my students!
