All of my students thrive when provided a variety of ways to learn and demonstrate their understanding when presented new math concepts. With this in mind, I have chosen to purchase a set of Breakout Boxes to use in my classroom. Each Breakout box can be tailored to the concepts currently being taught in class. I recently had the opportunity to try the Breakout Boxes with a class and they were amazing! Every student was motivated to attempt the problems presented, they were engaged, and they were working together. There were many "aha" moments with the math problems as they worked together as a team to solve them. Breaking into the box was just a bonus! Breakout boxes can also be used in other subject areas and will be shared amongst our team of almost 200 students.
