These materials will help my students build nerve connections in the brain and encourage the development of motor skills. As lessons are taught, the materials will help create an environment conducive to learning emotional regulation, behavior, and increase support in daily life. All the items I have selected assist in improving the concentration and focus in children with ADHD and others who need to keep their hands busy to listen and attend. This will allow students to make brain connections and pick up on the skills that they need to learn. In fact, the same items can be used for cool down when a student is having meltdown or need items or a space to regain their focus.
