My students currently do not have much access to technology so I would love to be able to get a class set of Kindle Fires for them. Technology plays such an important role in our lives, and it is a great way to get the students engaged. Last year, my students worked on animal research papers, and tablets would have been such a great tool for each of them to have access to. We will be doing the same research paper this year, and I'm hoping we will be able to get these Kindle Fires to help them on this research paper. Being able to research things on their own is just one of the many benefits that my students would get from having a Kindle Fire. Other benefits would include watching educational videos (i.e. BrainPOPjr.), playing interactive educational games, taking online assessments, test prep. practice, and much more. By donating, you will ensure that my students will have access to technology whenever they need it. This will not only help the students that I have in my class this year, but countless others who will pass through my class in the future as well.
