Even while students are learning from home, there is still nothing they enjoy more than a good book! We usually read one together a day and have a variety of books that can be read or listened to independently. It is important for students to be exposed to books that are both windows and mirrors. They should be reading books that not only reflect back familiar experiences, cultural aspects and traditions; but also should be a way for students to be exposed to experiences, cultural aspects and traditions that are different from their own.
