I teach Kindergarten, and it's hard to expect 5 and 6-year-old students to sit still and complete assignments. It is hard for adults to do it in meetings. I have seen flexible seating in classrooms and it works. I want my students to be able to be comfortable while they work. Students will have the opportunity to choose what kind of seating style they want. When we empower the students with choice, they show us just how capable they are. Flexible seating will cut down on disruptions and behavior issues. Students will be excited to go back to their "seats" and complete their activities. Thank you in advance for your donations. I can't wait to see the positive changes that happen in my classroom with flexible seating.
