Imagine if you will that the greatest actor that you know of is Channing Tatum. This is in no way to put down Mr. Tatum's work, but time and time again, this is the usual breadth of acting models my drama students have to draw from. What you are contributing to is a collection of films that come from the AFI list of top 100 films. I chose the films from this list as ones that I felt were the best at filling the gaps in their acting and film watching knowledge. The California standards for theater require exposure to master works of film to grow from; with your help, you can help my students respond to a world that they have never had access to.
