We need a cozy carpet where we can learn and grow! In our classroom, we don't spend very much time at our desks. Instead, we gather as a community on our classroom carpet. This carpet will help students engage in shared learning experiences such as read-alouds, music time, hands-on math lessons, literacy and math centers and so much more! Our classroom carpet is a place where we come together as a community of learners and explorers. This shared space brings us together as a classroom community and the well-defined, individual spaces help students learn about respect and personal space. We will learn how we can work individually, in team partnerships and in groups as we gather in this special, shared place.
