An up-to-date computer will allow me to use engaging technology to teach my non-verbal students. They will see interactive activities and applications during sessions. Many of my non-verbal students have a short attention span and stimming behaviors. These difficulties require me to use interactive activities to make them stay engaged during teletherapy. My current computer is not technologically savvy enough to let me use various programs and software. As a result, it affects session productivity. Distance learning has created a lot of hurdles for my non-verbal students. I am hoping to use technology to help them learn effectively.
