White boards are a great way for teachers to see immediate results and check for understanding during lessons. Students are able to show their work to the teacher and class by using their white boards and raising them up when the teacher asks. White boards are also an awesome way to save TREES! There is no need to make copies as usual. Graphing white boards are even more essential in the 6th grade because they do a lot of graphing! When graphing, it is hard for teachers to check for understanding because students do most graphing on paper, however, if they have graphing white boards, the students can practice more and save paper!
