Our chapter has the grand tradition of selling popcorn at multiple sporting events throughout our year. This includes running concessions out of a narrow space, requiring a small, but mighty, popcorn machine that can meet the needs of our customers. The popcorn machine will make our stand safer and more efficient and the other supplies will help support that process. A scoop that drops kernels will help provide increased customer satisfaction. Each game provides students with the opportunity to provide experience in customer service, money handling, and food safety. They also learn teamwork and supervision, as well as timekeeping skills and how to make bank deposits. They also have the opportunity to interact with the community and demonstrate their school and chapter pride.
