Triangles, tambourines, and finger castanets are great for the general music classroom because students can move while playing. These types of instruments are versatile and will broaden musical lessons and activities resulting in more engagement. My students would enjoy having a classroom set of triangles, tambourines, and finger castanets! We currently own a few of these instruments, but there is not enough for each student to play on the same type of instrument. It would be great to have a classroom set so we can fully execute a lesson, and the students will no longer be disappointed that they don't get to play what everyone else is playing.
