With the Butterfly Kit, Plant Kit and magnifying glasses my students will be able to learn hands-on how to think and work like a scientist. These skills are necessary for all children to develop into better students but I think it is even more important when the student has a disability. We will watch how a plant grows and how a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. Allowing these students with limited natural ability and resources to experience scientific thinking, problem-solving and learn the necessity of detailed and accurate observation will help them become better students, therefore, benefiting the entire community.

About my class
