The Chromebooks will allow my students to have access to technology not available at home. I am going to be able to use programs to help build the foundations of whole reading. My students can access many resources online to help with phonics, comprehension, fluency, and other areas of reading. I want my students to get the balanced literacy they need to be successful readers. The students in my class need the resources to get the skills they have missed out on. My students need to feel they can succeed at reading because every student can be successful at reading if given the correct resources. My students are all capable of learning when given a chance and for the program to show progress. The parents need to be able to see progress and through the use of Chromebooks they will be able to see the progress with the reports created.
