Reading is everything, and everything is reading. A seasoned teacher told me that once, and he was right. I am a 7th grade homeroom teacher, which means I teach 7th grade reading, writing, and mathematics. I also teach 6th through 8th grade research and AVID classes. I teach in a high-need community where the majority of my students receive a free or reduced lunch. It my job to make sure my students have every opportunity possible so that they can succeed in their lives and inspire others to achieve their dreams.
