My students need headphones in order to gain access to the language support that our online learning can provide. The majority of my students are English Language Learners, and our engaging online math program i-Ready is an integral part of our math workshop. While I'm teaching a lesson to a small group of students, my other learners need to keep out the distractions and focus on their own learning. Our online learning, as well as the annual SBAC test, give students the option to have math word problems read to them orally. This feature allows my ELs to access higher level content. These headphones will give support to my students both in language development and in mathematics.
