We are a small K-6 school and most of our students have attended our school through all the grades. My class has 3rd and 4th graders. Our students are from a mixed economic background. There are students that are well off and have traveled extensively. Then there are students that live in homes with no running water and have little experience outside their own neighborhood. Our area has a substantial population of Russian families and our school has many Russian ELL students. Living in a rural area, our students spend a great deal of time outside playing and doing activities. Inside they love doing hands on activities, art projects that are connected to our curriculum, as well as being on the computer and learning through technology. They are curious and eager to learn at all times. The students in our school are respectful, kind and have a reputation of being hard working and honest. They make us proud every day!
