The majority of my students lack access to the internet from their homes due to their socioeconomic status. With your generous donation, my students could have that opportunity through the use of Chromebooks in our classroom. In this day and time, lack of internet availability has a significant negative impact on students' educational experiences. My students desperately need the opportunity and the educational resources available to them through the use of the internet. Our class will be using these Chromebooks for our Google Classroom activities as well as our Google Lit Trips based upon the books we are reading in class. This enables them to actually travel to the locations we are reading about and feel as if they are seeing important details first hand! Most of my students do not have the luxury of traveling outside of our rural community; however, through the use of the internet, they can travel the world and take part in the many interactive activities that will be available to them via the internet. With your generous donation, you will be providing an opportunity for my students to discover the vast educational resources available to them at the click of a trackpad.
