I want my 1st grade students to have access to the world of technology. The iPads will be used in our classroom everyday by multiple students. I want my students to have the opportunity to learn using various learning tools, and these iPads are just the thing to get us started. I would love to purchase two iPads to download educational apps that would enhance as well as remediate our reading and math programs. These iPads will help to close the gap that some of these students face when it comes to their learning styles. They will be used in our guided reading groups. This will help those students who are still struggling to read, and it is something that will hold their attention, unlike printed pages or books will.
