Four students came to me, school counselor, with the idea of stopping bullying in our building. This idea became a desire to create a "Kindness Club" for 3rd and 4th grades. When we first met we had 45 students in attendance, by our second meeting we had grown to 78 members. The club continues to grow weekly. "Kindness Club" members will wear these shirts weekly as our club meets throughout the school year. Wearing these shirts will support a kindness atmosphere in our school of 900+ students. Wearing these shirts will remind everyone to always treat other students with kindness! Students will begin to participate in acts of kindness throughout the school campus. By promoting kindness, the school climate will be positively affected for all students and staff.
