Our baseball field, in its current state, poses a threat to players–with holes and mounds across the infield and outfield, plus an absence of a drainage system to clear the damage from rainfall. While baseball has not been the district's focus, there has been an increased interest among students. We believe that a two-year maintenance project–using the help of players, their families, and interested community members– could bring the field to where it should be. With your help, we can make the baseball team a winning one by showing the players that their dedication has not gone unnoticed. Plus, a newly renovated baseball field with essential training equipment will attract players from the surrounding towns to practice and play, breading a new generation of athletes from West Tallahatchie and beyond.
