My classroom is comprised of a multitude of personalities and abilities. Each and every student is unique and offers their own "ingredient" to our melting pot of learning and growing. There are 19 students in my classroom, 10 boys and 9 girls. Each student has a goal of getting stellar grades and making this year a successful one. The best way to ensure this happens is to boost student confidence in themselves. The importance of being a good reader cannot be stressed enough. When students are confident in their reading skills, they become confident learners in general. We strive to also increase our oral vocabulary, which is also accomplished by reading.
