I love teaching science. It gets kids interested in the world around them, it gets them asking questions and it teaches them the problem solving skills they need to be self-reliant individuals. The beauty of this site is that, not only will you be helping my students learn, you will also be instilling in them a sense of philanthropy. So often they see the equipment in the class and they think that it was payed for by the school and they don't really appreciate it. When I tell them that real people have donated to further their education, they have a realization that giving is something people do on a regular basis. It's a big realization that is sure to influence them to pay it forward and give in the future. When you give you not only further science education, you create a generation of givers.

About my class
