My ESL classroom now has a beautiful multilingual library due to the generosity of the donors on Donors Choose. Now that I have set up my library I am finding that I am in need of additional copies of books and I would also love to add audio copies of the books we received to out library. I am hoping to use the left over funds from my previous project to purchase audio books that go although with the books I received from the last project. These audio books will allow my beginning English speakers and readers to practice reading at home independently and will hopefully help them to prove their reading and listening skills. I am also requesting some seating and a carpet that will make our classroom library a welcoming place that encourages my students to relax and read. It is my hope that this library will be a wonderful place for my students that makes them feel welcomed and supported! I know that providing my students with audio texts and a comfortable place to relax will inspire them to read.
