Let's teach the children so we do not have to teach the adults! South LA is not easy to grow up in. My students use grit and the resources at their disposal daily to find success. As 12 and 13 year olds, they hold jobs and directly support the childcare of their younger siblings. My aim as both their Administrator and mentor is to open up their minds into the world of exceptional feats beyond South LA. Our boys are positive outliers of their communities. They come to school everyday. Ready and willing to be challenged. Help me put the tools in front of them now, so they can change their world!
