Our school band program is in need of instruments! Our bands include students in grades 6 - 8. Our school is in a high-need community, and band is one way the students are able express themselves in a positive way. Students involved in band discover leadership skills, develop life-long friendships, raise test scores, learn perseverance, commitment, and have a support group rarely found throughout their school experiences. Band has also helped several alumni to make college a reality, through scholarships and/or tuition waivers.

About my class
