Having a classroom carpet will help provide a comfortable space for my students to come together and build a classroom family and learn. A bright classroom rug will make the classroom a lot more inviting, especially for my students who are coming to school for the first time. Having this carpet will allow students to focus on what they are learning as opposed to where they are sitting. Students are on the carpet the first thing in the morning for morning meeting as well as for whole group instruction in all subjects. Minimizing distractions and increasing focus is so important for helping kindergarteners learn and grow!
